2019年9月18日，習(xí)近平總書記在河南考察時強(qiáng)調(diào)：“鄂豫皖蘇區(qū)根據(jù)地是我們黨的重要建黨基地，焦裕祿精神、紅旗渠精神、大別山精神等都是我們黨的寶貴精神財富?！边@一講話充分肯定了鄂豫皖蘇區(qū)根據(jù)地和大別山精神的重要地位。

On September 18, 2019, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized during his inspection in Henan that Hubei-Henan-Anhui Sovietarea base is an important base ofparty building for the CPC. The spirit of Jiao Yulu, the spirit of Red Flag Canal, and the spirit of Dabie Mountains are all valuable spiritual wealth of the CPC. 大別山，是紅軍的故鄉(xiāng)，將軍的搖籃。自1921年中國共產(chǎn)黨誕生到1949年新中國成立，位于湖北、河南、安徽三省邊界的大別山區(qū)先后分別爆發(fā)了黃麻起義、商城起義和六霍起義，孕育了著名的鄂豫皖革命根據(jù)地。在長達(dá)28年的歷史風(fēng)雨中，無數(shù)革命先烈憑借堅定的信仰，堅守大別山，確保革命紅旗不倒、薪火相傳。用鮮血和生命凝結(jié)了以“堅守信念、胸懷全局、團(tuán)結(jié)一心、勇當(dāng)前鋒”為主要內(nèi)涵的大別山精神。

Dabie Mountains is the hometown of the Red Army and the cradle of generals. From the founding of the CPC in 1921 to the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, Dabie Mountains, located on the border of Hubei, Henan and Anhui, successively witnessed Huangan-Macheng Uprising, Shangcheng Uprising and Liuan-Huoshan Uprising, giving birth to the famous Hubei-Henan-Anhui revolutionary base area. For 28 years, countless revolutionary martyrs, with their unshakable faith, stuck to the Dabie Mountains to hold high the red flag and pass down from generation to generation. With blood and life, they created the spirit of Dabie Mountains, with the main connotation of "stick to the faith, always see the big picture, unite as one and be courageous".

如今，我們正處于“兩個一百年”歷史交匯期，戰(zhàn)勝前進(jìn)道路上的各種艱難險阻，發(fā)揚(yáng)以“大別山精神”為代表的紅色精神尤為重要。弘揚(yáng)大別山精神，鼓足精氣神、激發(fā)實干勁，讓紅色基因融入血脈，用中國精神激發(fā)力量，努力為實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的中國夢作出應(yīng)有貢獻(xiàn)。

Nowadays, we are in the period in which the timeframes of the two centenary goals converge. To overcome all difficulties and obstacles that we meet on our way, it is all the more important to carry forward the red spirit represented by the spirit of Dabie Mountains. It inspires people to work hard with enthusiasm, and encourages us to integrate the red genes into our blood and regard Chinese spirit as the source of strength.
